The Cottage

Mill Cottage is arranged over 3 floors with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The cottage sleeps 2-6/7

 

Ground floor - The front door opens directly into a good size openplan lounge, dining and kitchen area with wooden flooring throughout. The lounge is well furnished with comfortable sofas, colour TV/Video, DVD and CD player. The well-equipped fitted kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher and a washer/dryer.

 

First floor - Stairs lead to the first floor with a double room including a king size bed and a single room with bunk beds. Family bathroom including bath with shower over, wash hand basin and toilet.

 

Second floor - A further set of stairs leads to the second floor with again a double room including king size bed and a single room with a single bed. Family bathroom including bath with shower over, wash hand basin and toilet.

 

Outside - To the front of the cottage there is a pleasant enclosed garden with patio. There is garden furniture including cushions and parasol and a BBQ for al fresco dining.

Please note we are a non-smoking cottage and well behaved pets are acceptable but are restricted to the ground floor only.  A twin dog kennel and run are provided.

 

Bedlinen and towels (not beach towels) are all included in the price as is electricity.

 

Locally

300 metres away is a garage shop where you will find a wide range of essential groceries and a cash point ATM machine. Also an excellent Pub serving great food and beer, families welcome. Discounted temporary membership is available at the nearby Dartmouth Golf & Country Club on Green Fees and all their leisure facilities. The nearest of many beautiful sandy beaches is 6 miles away at Bigbury-on-Sea leading to the famous Burgh Island. This is a great place to windsurf, kite-surf or body-board, but also very safe to potter around rock-pooling.
Alternatively head North and you'll be in the wilds of Dartmoor in 15 Minutes.
